Dinner tonight was okay, but not fantastic. The male parental and I were originally considering a certain sushi restaurant but... it's a 30-40 min drive away and I'm too dead for it. Since he had a long meeting today, he wasn't too keen either, so we went for yakiniku. It was okay, but service was soooo sssssllllllooooooooooooooowwwww. -_-;; And as much as I like meat, it was way too much protein (beef, pork and chicken) and nowhere near enough veggies. Ack! I'll give that place this much though, they don't have any utensils other than chopsticks at the table, and there aren't any at the Mongolian grill / salad bar either. Today was the first day I've ever cut apart and eaten a melon slice using chopsticks. A rather dubious honour. :/
Given today's carnivore's dinner, I think I'll aim for rabbit food tomorrow. That and plenty of fruit. >_<;;
Negotiations are semi-open between myself and the male parental regarding possibly running away for 7-10 days depending on how work goes and when we can find a window of opportunity. The "where" hasn't been nailed down yet, and that affects how long. Either way, I'm thinking about running for it with or without him though. (I often threaten that). :P While poking around the Government of Canada's Travel Advisory site, I discovered that I don't need a visa to go to France, is that right?? The last time I went was when I was in high school and I needed one then so I was a bit surprised. ^^; The other thing I discovered was some weird thing about credit card use in Great Britain. Something about needing / using a pin number?? Umm.... eek? O_O
I had something I'd wanted to say about FB but I have no idea what it was. The brain has been scarcely coherent for the past few days (it's a wonder anyone understood anything I was trying to say for the past bit!) and I wanted to clarify something but... I have no idea what it was. Mrf.
Anyhow, shall see how hunting for info tomorrow goes. ^___^
