R: "There are mirrors in the hallway, as well. I wonder if there's some meaning to them."
E: "Is something wrong with them, Raven?"
"......No. I thought I saw something white being reflected just now."
-Which would be unusual since Edgar and the others were the only ones in the grand staircase at the moment.
"A ghost, perhaps?"
"I don't know. I'll check in back."
Raven surprised Paul when he immediately turned to go back the way they came.
"Eh. Aren't you afraid going on your own?"
"Well, of ghosts."
"Raven's not afraid of anything."
Raven nodded in agreement. "The only thing I'm afraid of is Master Edgar angering Mrs. Lydia."
Apparently, Raven couldn't relax even though his master managed to marry her.
"Wait a moment, Raven. Have I angered Lydia that often?"
"Miss Kelly told me that it's when you try not to anger her that's the most dangerous. It's impossible to know when she'll explode, so Miss Kelly feels her life shorten with every single thing you do."
"I...... see. I'll be careful, Raven." Edgar looked taken aback.
Raven bowed slightly then left to check the end of the passageway.
