Normally, I don't do this because most of my projects are done because I'm interested in doing them, but I have to admit to being curious as to how interested people are in what. So! I was hoping people would give some thoughts and feedback on the stuffs here.

The questions (just because something's listed doesn't necessarily mean it will turn into a project):

^^; Sadly, not too many people try their hand at novel translation, which is sad when you think about how easy some titles are compared to others. (Some titles are much more difficult to translate. I will definitely admit that.) I agree that novel translation isn't anywhere near as popular as manga translation, but reading books also takes much more time and effort than reading manga. ^^; I think the ethics of translating novels is also a bigger issue though, and it's something that I'm always debating with myself. :/ Still, I sometimes think it would be nice if there were a site which compiled light novel translations as well, since there are sites out there (like there is for manga or anime). I just don't know how/where to find them though. *sigh*

I know of one site dedicated to light novel translations. It's Baka Tsuki which is based off of Wiki. They have several novels in various stages.

Hmm... that site's not quite what I meant. That one's more like a collective group working on different projects under Baka Tsuki's name, whereas I'm thinking more like... anisuki is with anime, where they list all the different groups working on various different titles.

Hm. Sorry then, I don't know of any site like that for novels.

I guess it doesn't help that a number of translators, even if they did translate something, will often lock their posts. ^^;

Yeah it's really a shame =( But I think (hope XD) it's becoming more popular because tokyopop also has some light novels which he released (sadly almost all the novels are being put on hold =() It would be really nice if there was a site where you could find all the snippets, summaries and translations from the novels ^^ I am also really bad at searching so it's a miracle that I found the HakuYou translations from you^^
