"?" Sayuri looked up and glanced around. She thought she just heard something, but perhaps it was her imagination?
Sayuri was currently playing in the sandbox of one of the neighbourhood playgrounds. Her family had only recently moved to the area, and she had yet to manage to make any friends or play with the other kids. She sighed slightly. While she didn't hate being alone, she did feel a little lonely. And she didn't think it right for her to always be with her mom; after all, her mom was busy with various things, too. Still, she couldn't help feeling lonely from time to time.
"Is someone there?" Sayuri asked quietly, but there was no reply.
Looking around once again, she saw that there was no one around her. The rest of the kids had already gone home, and Sayuri had also been thinking of leaving when that faint sounds of laughter caught her attention. Feeling that the park seemed a bit chilly, she decided to leave, and quickly ran off towards her house.
As she left, the sound of someone laughing could be heard echoing quietly throughout the park.
Wow is that ever rough. >.<; It's been too long since I've scribbled anything. :/
