current mood: cheerful

It works! ^___^

By the time I post this, hopefully it'll be safer to hit the torrent link (ie that there will be at least several other people seeding), but as I'm writing this, I'm surprised at how many people are pulling the ep. O_O; As it is, the tracker's owner emailed me about the torrent. Oops. ^^; I'll need to get help seeding subsequent releases. As incentive, you'd be able to get earlier access to any releases. (Is that incentive??) ^^; In any case, hopefully my torrent test group will be willing to help seed releases? (Maybe have a couple people extra per ep and rotate through a group so that no one or few people have to use up too much bandwidth?) It'll be something to definitely think about though.

In any case, obviously sharing the file via BT is working and the volunteers were just that. At least they weren't victims and I didn't get lynched. ^^;

*****

I just discovered that the torrent was posted on Tokyo Toshokan. That might explain why it becamse busy. ^^;

The name Shadow Dreams now accompanies the name Saiunkoku Monogatari whenever the anime comes up in conversations, especially to English speaking fans, even before you started setting episode 1 for BT. ^^

You go, girl! (lol)

Thanks! Please see this post. Actually, I think since you and I believe neko123 are in Japan, perhaps we can release an episode or two at a time more convenient for you instead. ^_^

Thanks! Am I right in thinking you're in Japan? If so, I'll see if I can't arrange to release an episode or two at a time more convenient for you compared to over here. ^_^

Rin & Haru free hug (am_loved)

I'd seed, but the computer really is getting turned off veryvery soon (it's only on now 'cause we didn't exactly finish packing last night. >.>). Yay BitTorrent! I bounced when I saw it on the torrent sites. *^^*

You. Pack woman! :P I honestly thought you'd already packed your computer and would be completely offline for a day or two until everything got moved. ^^;

Yay BitTorrent! I bounced when I saw it on the torrent sites. *^^*

Yay! It worked and didn't blow up in my face! ^^; It was shockingly easy to do which surprised the hell out of me. I spent more time dithering over "that can't be all there is to it" than executing the UL. *laughs*

Whoa... and there's another example of why commas are so important. O_O Depending on how you're doing the move, 'pack woman' might also apply, but that wasn't what was meant. ^^;

Thanks! ^_^ Hopefully this post can explain how to do this. Ep 8 will be a bit of an experiment as we see if it does indeed work as I'm hoping. ^^; Let me know what's possible for you and when! ^___^

okay so i loked at...i just have to save the torrent file and that makes me a seeder?

i can do it whenever. I usually have my computer on all the time and download things when i am at work. Seeing, i work in the city, my uploading/downloading stuff usually happens during that time..which is like 12 hours a day. so, i can do an Ep a day. or one ep for couple days. whatever works for you

Not quite. You need to open the file (just like you would to DL using BT) and have the actual file in your DL folder. That way, when your BT client reads the .torrent and sees you have a complete copy already, it'll automatically start seeding instead of start DLing the file.

Thanks for helping! ^___^

aizen LIVE! for your droolin pleasure

ahhhh okay, send me the link to the torrent page, and which ones do you need seeded? i'll help out in whatever way i can.

btw, started a new knitting project...PILLOWS! and a toy! i have never done something like this. so excited, am going to post up the projects later.

i was thinking about you at my knitting group on friday night (we meet monthly)

Ep 9 will be released to BT soon. Basically, I'll make a new post on LJ with the link so you just need to "clicky the linky". :P My biggest uncertainty lies in eps 11-16 because that's "unknown territory". I don't think there'll be as strong an interest in eps 8-10 overall since we only just released ep 1. But no one's released eps 11-16 so interest could be high or it could be weak. ^^;

Pillows?! Toys I can definitely see although I'm not sure about how difficult they might be. ^_^ (The female sibling unit bought me some pattern books by... Jean Greenhowe for my b-day but I haven't tried any yet. ^^;; ) What sort of pillow and toy are you knitting? Definitely post photos. I want to see! ^___^

My current project is another pair of socks that's been going very slowly. I can't remember if I mentioned it after the Day and Night socks. ^^; I tend to knit them when compiling the fansub files (<- hey! Shouldn't that mean they're going relatively quickly?!?). ^^;

I envy you the knitting group. It would take ~30-40 mins to get to any of the shops that I know have knitting groups. :/

in my last report

great. will clicky the link. ^___~

The pillow is really cute. It's something different. I don't know how difficult the toy will be, i guess i will find out. ^^

ahh...i remember the socks. You'll have to put pics up of the finished pieces. i have never seen anything you have created. be splendid to see something you have done.

My knitting group is not part of any store. It actually started from my friend Annie, who got together some fellow industry galpals,like me, who are knitters and crafters. From there it has included gals from other areas outside the entertainment industry, but usually they have a spouse/beau who is in it. it's hard to get everyone together every month. But, my Annie does a fab job with rustling us up. Usually just 10 in the group. but, there are like 25 on the list. The place rotates. So, it's at a fellow knitters house. We usually get pizza, have wine cheese crackers and fruit. knit, eat drink and girlie gab.

ironically, I like 45minutes out of the city, without traffic. The stitch-n-bitch (what our group is termed. based on the knitting book of the same name) is usually in brooklyn or queens, which is another 15minutes out of the city (w/o traffic, again). so, it takes me a good hour to sometimes hour 45min to get there.

Thankfully, seeing i am freelancing in the city right now, it's only the additional 15minutes to a half hour to the destination point. and, since it goes on til usually 10-11pm. there is not too much traffic coming home, and ican get there within hour.

again, it's only once a month. so i don't mind. And, i find it motivates me more.

geesh. i am babblin again.
