Slow on the draw

Reading through the latest news from Dreamwidth, I discovered that auto-X-posting should be possible. So... (decidedly not a) drive-by post. :P

WRT the weirdness / fail a week+ ago by Amazon, I have to admit I've been watching how the J site behaves even though (as I'd mentioned when that stuff was hitting the fan) I don't actually read GLBT stuffs at the moment. Heck, I don't read English much at the moment (which is another issue). However, there is something that's been popping up on occasion on amazon.co.jp that has me wondering if that's the source of all that fail. My question, though, is why on earth am I running into it on occasion if it's not ready to go live??

Basically, what I'm finding is that, sometimes, when running a search for an item on their site, I get my search results along with a statement at the bottom stating that 'a filter was used on this search. Click the link to see the items removed from the original search'. (Or maybe 'see the results with removed items included'? Something along those lines. It was in Japanese and I didn't screen cap it, so I don't have it in front of me to double-check exactly what it said.) I'd never seen this prior to the fail! (at least not to my knowledge), and it's not consistent. I'd do the search one day and it's subjected to the filter, but the next day I run the search, it's not. O_o;

So far, I've primarily been searching for two titles: Hakushaku to Yousei (book 18's finally available for pre-order! ^o^ [Yes, that's why I was running the search so frequently. :P ]), and Victorian Rose Tailor. Both series are published in Cobalt and are light novels, so it's highly unlikely for any major adult content to be in the books. Still, even though the filter comment and link has come up a few times on my searches, every time I've hit the link, the search results don't change. The one thing I would really hope for WRT a filter would be the removal of things like Saiunkoku Monogatari books coming up on my HakuYou searches. They're completely different authors and different publishers, but for some reason the search for one brings up some weird other items. The question is what is the filter actually supposed to filter out?

Ah, well. I guess the world at large will find out sooner or later. Maybe. *shrug*

Life handed me lemons today--17 of them in fact. (Of the fruit kind! Minds can get out of the gutters! :P ) Weird question: is it better to add lemon zest to hot water, cold water, or does it not make a difference?

Back to HakuYou vol 6 summary and my attempt to find out post limits for Dreamwidth and if it's any different from LJ. (Why, no. I'm not going to just take a pre-existing summary and post it here. That'd be no fun.) I wonder how long this sucker's going to take me... *sigh*

(......Come to think of it, would it be any different? If it were, wouldn't it create problems with X-posting...?)

[X-posted to Dreamwidth]

[Edited to add: Hmm... cut tags don't go across, so there's a touch of clean-up when X-posting. Will have to keep that in mind for next time. ^^; ]

[Edited to add2: Make sure all edits are done on this end (or remove X-post option) when editing. So much for my LJ edits... ^^; ]

it would certainly make more sense to add it to hot water if you were making a tea... What is the lemon zest water to be used for?

Not too different. I include the zest when making lemon(-lime)ade. Basically, I dissolve the sugar with boiling water then cool it down with more water, but I've been debating between adding the zest in before the additional water or after. Since the drink sits in the fridge for a while, I wasn't sure if there would be any real difference after sitting for a day or so. ^^;
