Friending is a two-way process, so while you can request to friend a blog, the other person must either approve the friending 承認 or refuse it 拒否. A message in pink will show on your announcements page when you log in if you have a friending (or other?) request. (Sorry, I accidentally overwrote that image the other night. >.> )

ULing files

With user icons ULed (maybe label them all as icons so you can search for them in your list of files), you can then insert them at the beginning of your post. I've changed my settings to allow images to be added without certain formatting (you can change this in the post itself) and added the following formatting hspace="10", vspace="10", align="left".

When you first create your journal you may see something like this:

It's an advertisement from your sponsor. Literally, if you don't update, you get an ad on your blog. If you do update, they're not there. Certain other services do use adverts elsewhere (IIRC webclap does).

Hope everyone had a great Easter! ^_^

XD I hope you had a great Easter, too!

I spent mine with a friend and had an absolute blast!

What'd you do?

*laughs* Actually, I crashed. I was up quite late reading and ended up napping and otherwise going through the day in a bit of a daze. (We don't celebrate Easter per se, although FSU seems like she likes my dentist or something - she bought me a bunch of choco mini eggs and a Kinder Mix box??. ^^;; )

I think I'll do some reading tonight. I found some books I'd forgotten about hiding in my room yesterday... Although I guess it would have to wait until I finish the rest of my updates. *sigh*

IW and GW? *smiles innocently*

I usually crash myself, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to observe Easter Sunday with a friend (Church service and all XD); it was a great learning experience!

Yes, I am very weird.

*laughs* Nope; Mona's request was first. *Now* the clone is free to try reading through IW and GW again. ^^;

^_^ I see cloning yourself was a success! XD

Umm... refresh my memory if you don't mind... who was Seiga, again?

(Does that mean both chapters are done?)

Posted by: Shadow (kagedreams)
Posted at: March 24th, 2008 06:43 am (UTC)

Not entirely a success. >.>

Seiga... he's the guy who tried to steal Shuurei's hard work when she was stripped of her position after returning to Kiyou. I think you meet him in the middle of the second season or so.

(Not even close. I get to look over them again now. I only have one body realistically. ^^; )

Well no wonder I didn't know. I stopped watching the second season because the groups fansubbing it were worse than molasses on a good day. I could have downloaded the raws, but that didn't occur to me until later ~_~

Not even close. I get to look over them again now.

Have fun! ^_^ (You know where to find me for bouncing ideas)

Back to the drawing board with cloning, right?

Naru&Mai

Sorry, no J blogging for me. Agenda too crowded as it is. :(

Super Comic event last week... new GH doujinshi! Most I fear (for me anyway) are novels... really wish more sellers would say comic or novel (or both) in auction descriptions...

Novel for sure
http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n62926784

Manga would hope
http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h56207750

Novel assume from page count
http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w22956079

This isn't new but "Between the Sheets" seems like more than enough incentive to learn more JP as fast as possible (which wouldn't be fast enough! ^^*)
http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w22955538

amazon.jp can pre-order manga 10 (new entry for, last week there was on ly the one from last year showing up (but it had more feedback comments... ) now to wait and see what happens come April 11...

Noted anywhere if the LJ protest had any impact?

*laughs* Well, by no means will it be for everyone. ^^;

Hmm, the first one's by Caramel Ribon and is a novel; most of her works are if I'm not mistaken. Apparently, the doujinka is running a poll on her site right now to see which out of print doujinshi people want her to re-release. That one's among the titles. ^_^

The third is most likely a novel; apparently released this year.

The last one though would probably be good incentive to learn. :P Between the sheets is apparently a collection of the SSs Tenca'd had up on her website before taking that part down some time ago. It includes 言葉のない夜 which is MaixNaru. I've read the tame 表 version, but this one has the 裏 version.

Yeah, I had last year's vol. still in my Wishlist, so it's on my list to get once I get our next Amazon order together. ^^;; I wonder if there were any other novels I'm supposed to get...? I did read that there's a magazine YomYom that has a SS by Ono Fuyumi in it - it's a 12 Kokuki story though. (Darn!) ^^;

Nothing really. One person did say something and complained about various aspects of the strike and how it had been mentioned in no_lj_ads but eventually they edited their post. *shrug* I expect it would be very difficult to really be able to really tell if there was any actual impact. (I could be wrong.) In my mind, there are too many variables at play with it having been put on that specific day; you need to consider the strike, the counter-strike, regular Friday traffic, and regular traffic because of Good Friday. O_o Then there's also the question if people actually followed the correct time zone... 'Midnight' has always struck me as a term that people often get confused on (in terms of which end of the day). ^^;

GHOST HUNT

I would like to try the J blog but my project list isn't getting any smaller *sigh*

However they (higher ups) do monitor traffic/usage would be able to tell ... but not likely that's something they'd share to users.

I had last year's on order until Amazon finally cancelled it, I forget when. Fingers crossed this time. If does come out, hopefully Vol11 won't be another year (or more) to wait for ^^

Oooh... Appropriate title for the book then ^^;; REALLY wish I could read it, even part of it! No, no mustn't bid.

^^;; Apparently, I spoke too soon about the numbers. Some numbers have come up on ljspeaks.

I'm seriously hoping v10 and 11 are out in short order, but it's hard to say if the final story will be two volumes or possibly more. ^^;

*laughs* I think I'm very glad I don't bid on auctions; this is one I'd be all too tempted to go for. ^^;

Allen

Dame da, I'm useless at stats ^^ Thanks for pointing it out.

Only 2 volumes to cover the last story??? Bit crammed in if only 2 wouldn't it be?

So you could be persuaded to translate bits if I got it? ^^;;

*laughs* So am I. I've taken one stats course in uni, but it was a long time ago, and I sure don't remember most of it. ^^;

Yeah, I figure 2 vols would be pretty tight to manage, but I know some publishers (Hakusensha...) delay the release of the second last volume so that it's released a month or so before the final one. ......I still wouldn't want that last story to only be two volumes though; I think it needs/deserves more. ^^;

So you could be persuaded to translate bits if I got it? ^^;;

^^;; I tend to be a lot more hesitant when it comes to GH because I try to write for both the J and E fandoms. I might if it were completely f-locked. However, even Tenca's short SSs can be quite long... ^^;

Naru&Mai

I'd rather wait and have more volumes than a condensed, get it out quick version. I hate when think a manga has a long way to go storywise and then it's wham, DONE. And left going chotto, chotto!

Summaries I could live with for translation ^^;;
Seller I just won a GH doujinshi from has bidded on the auction so I better not (she hasn't sent my doujinshi yet). It seems to come up not too infrequently though.

I tempted fate and went to ff.net... just as bad a decision as last time. ^^

Hope you're doing better today!

Yeah, I hate it when they really rush the ending. It's like, " O_O;; Did I blink?!" ^^;

*laughs* Summaries I can do. ^^;

Yikes! I haven't checked ff.net out for a bit now, so I'm almost afraid to see what's come up since. ^^;;

I am. Thanks! ^_^
